The Mayor then had the pleasure of presenting Springfield Choir with a certificate from Make-A-Wish UK Charity for their charity hour long sing at Burnley Tesco.

Coun. Kelly said: "As a retired teacher I was thrilled to be invited into your lovely school."

Following the assembly, the Mayor took a tour of the school and spent time speaking to staff members. She also invited the school's Year 6 class to Burnley Town Hall to see what happens and to understand some of the history of the town hall.
