Joanna (30) said: “The thing I have enjoyed the most is the show and tell sessions organised by the tutors. This is where we talked about pictures we took during the week in front of the group.

“During the show and tell sessions, my tutors showed amazing support by providing us with constructive feedback and guidance on how to take the best photographs and what to concentrate on.

“My next steps are to continue my studies by enrolling onto the Masters degree at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston and to concentrate on promoting my business.”

Martyn Pearson, lecturer in photographic media, said: “Joanna has been an excellent student, creating highly creative and sensitive work. Blackburn College University always offers a warm welcome to talented overseas students.”
