Burnley Gymnastics Club appeals for new coaches

One of East Lancashire’s fastest growing gymnastics club is on the lookout for new coaches to join their team.

Burnley Gymnastics Club, based at the BEST Centre just off Junction 9 of the M65, recently saw two girls crowned North West Champions on beam and vault.

Since being officially opened by Olympian Beth Tweddle (pictured) and receiving official London 2012 equipment the club has gone from strength to strength.

At present the club currently provide more than 35 classes for all ages from babies to over 50s in general gymnastics, women’s artistic and men’s artistic gymnastics.

The club will also be introducing freestyle gymnastics (FreeG) following a successful grant application to British Gymnastics.
