The selfie-selling takes off
Jodie Metcalfe, 18, set up Pods Photo Booth last year to save money for driving lessons and has not looked back since.
With work fitting around her Health and Social Care studies at Burnley College, Jodie provides high-quality selfie booths, props, and video technology for weddings, parties, and corporate events. She offers digital prints and USBs while-you-wait, allowing customers to upload photos instantly to social media.

Jodie said: “Pods came about because my dad booked a photo booth for his birthday and was let down. I knew I could do a better job; I decided to set up my own business.
“A year later, we’re booked up almost every weekend with events in Burnley, Preston, and as far as Blackpool. We’ve already expanded to three photo booths to suit different events.”
