Putting in the effort for hospice

A business golf day swung into action for Pendleside Hospice.

Local law firm Farnworth Rose organised the competition at Nelson Golf Club, which raised £1,070 for the hospice.

The victorious Farnworth rose team were joined by Mortgage 65, McParland and Partners and Petty Estate Agents in the Serious Hackers Invitational Trophy.

Richard Farnworth, Director at Farnworth Rose based in Nelson and Barrowford, said: “We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part in the event for making it such a great day.

“We are delighted to raise money for the Pendleside Hospice with the great help of everyone from Mortgage 65, McParland and Partners and Petty Estate Agents.”

“Most of us who live in the Burnley and Pendle area will at some point have been grateful for the quality of care provided for loved ones by Pendleside Hospice.”
