Jobs fair held at Turf Moor

The event, held in the Brian Miller Suite, was organised by recruitment firm Neville Gee and saw more than 30 people have an informal chat with staff about available warehouse, industrial, engineering and clerical work.

Each visitor was given a raffle ticket and lucky winner Laura Ashworth, from Burnley, scooped a Clarets shirt signed and presented by Jay Rodriguez.

The company’s commercial consultant Miss Jackie Thomson said staff were now processing the details of people who attended with a view to conducting formal interviews.

“It went really well. We just wanted to get our name out there really,” she said.
