How to promote your business in one easy step

BUSINESSES in Lancashire have been handed a direct way to to make their mark on new customers.

Letterbox Direct, which supplies printing services for firma across the North West, has created a “starter kit” offering companies a pack to get their brand out to customers.

It includes a package for 500 business cards, 500 letter heads and 500 compliments slips to provide a professional look for any new business – plus 5,000 colour printed A5 leaflets.

Ged Walsh, regional manager at Letterbox Direct, said it was also offering established businesses a “booster kit” of 10,000 leaflets to give their offers a jump-start.

He said: “The business booster does exactly what it says; it provides a boost to your business by getting your name out there.

“With the ‘starter kit’ offer and the ‘business booster’, we believe we have an offer which can get any new business off to a great start.

“The biggest challenge of any firm for its first 12 months is getting awareness of your brand and these offers will do exactly that.”

Letterbox Direct is also offering businesses taking up the deals a link into Deal Monster, a website offering deals at restaurants, retailers and leisure attractions across the country.

One customer, the Gate of Bengal restaurant at Broughton, near Preston, took the “business booster” offer from Letterbox Direct and took an exclusive offer from Deal Monster to promote its five-course Indian feast through the website.

Within two days, it had 42 takers for the offer bringing in £966 and, after six days, this had increase to more than £1,500 for the restaurant.

A representative from the Gate of Bengal said: “It is a great way to market your product, it certainly has brought in lots of new faces to the restaurant.”
