Gold star for Burnley food company's impeccable service

Burnley-based Birchall Foodservice has scooped a gold medal for their excellent service at a prestigious awards ceremony in London.

The family-owned company, whose main distribution centre is on Burnley Bridge Business Park, won the coveted Gold Medal for Wholesale Service to Caterers at the Federation of Wholesale Distributors (FWD) event held at Old Billingsgate on November 24th.

The award is the second to be presented to Birchall Foodservice this year. In March the high-flying business was named Employer of the Year at the Red Rose Awards.
