Hartley Foulds are part of Dignity Funerals, who launched the annual Easter Egg Appeal in 2002 to help distribute chocolate gifts to those less fortunate at this time of year.

Staff at the funeral directors are asking local businesses, community groups and residents to donate Easter Eggs or chocolate gifts for local children that may not have been expecting to receive one.

Funeral Service Arranger, Jeanine Newton, said: “We hope that the local community will support us and help to make Easter an easier time for the families supported by Burnley Foodbank. My colleagues across the UK have helped us to bring a smile to face of others that may not have been expecting an Easter Egg and we would like to do the same in Lancashire.”

If you would like to donate an Easter Egg, please visit Hartley Foulds between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
