A local food company cooked up a treat for Comic Relief

The Fuzzy Duck Food Company decided to donate half of all its cake sales, totalling £500, directly to Comic Relief last Friday, complete with a special ‘Red Nose’ touch.

The company also baked dditional treats and a Comic Relief special cake selection box while its energetic team wore t-shirts designed by Stich-it based in Whalley, to prompt their generous customers to help them raise money.

The company’s founder Rachel Tuson said: “We are delighted that we have raised so much money to help change the lives of so many less fortunate than ourselves.

Lockdown has really highlighted what a privileged life the majority of us enjoy in this area. We are so grateful to all our customers for their support and incredible generosity.

"We would also like to thank our web team and Stitch It for donating their time in helping us produce work wear for the day and promoting our fund-raiser.”
