With the excitement of the tickets for the 2021 festival going on sale in July, Colne Town Council is again delighted to announce continued financial support from main sponsor Barnfield Construction Ltd.

Tim Webber, chairman and managing director of Barnfield Construction Ltd, long term financial supporters of the festival, said: “Since Colne Town Council took over running of the Colne Blues Festival in 2017 we have seen the festival grow even more.

"Bringing back the main road closure and an increase in roadhouse venues has created an even more vibrant atmosphere for the festival throughout the town. With the 2019 festival winning the UK Blues Based Festival of the Year, it is attracting more award-winning acts, more international artists and promises a weekend packed full of activity for all to enjoy.

"The plans for 2021 are shaping up to be a great event for local people of Colne and those who visit just for the festival. We are pleased to be able to continue to support the festival and I know all attending will enjoy a weekend with some of the best blues music in the world.”

Coun. Mary Thomas, chairman of the Blues Working Group, said: “It’s through the generous support from Barnfield Construction as our main sponsor that the festival can continue to grow and thrive in Colne.

"This level of support enables Colne Town Council to organise and plan what is truly one of the largest blues festivals in Europe. The 2019 festival was the best one that Colne Town Council has organised, and we are hoping to go from strength to strength with this and many other events."

Next year’s festival is running from Friday evening August 27th through to the end of Sunday August 29th at the main venues, featuring over 160 acts on 22 stages.

All of the artists in their own right, tour worldwide and sell out their own shows. Having them feature as part of an evening’s entertainment, alongside other incredible artists, offers incredibly good value for each ticketed venue. The festival’s affordable prices make it accessible to share in this great experience.
