Burnley MP urges public to #supportlocal as shops reopen
Burnley MP Antony Higginbotham visited a number of businesses across Burnley and Padiham yesterday as non-essential shops began to reopen.

Mr Higginbotham said it was encouraging to see Burnley town centre busy, and called on the public to carry on supporting traders in order to help reinvigorate the local economy.
He said: "This week and all of this month I am asking everybody to support our local businesses. They really are the centre of our community."
