As part of the club’s vision to improve facilities for supporters and partners at Turf Moor the corporate area within the James Hargreaves Stand is currently undergoing a major uplift in time for the start of the 2021-22 season, including a spacious new open plan ‘Longside Lounge’ overlooking the pitch, through to eight stylish and intimate private ‘super boxes’.

And a new private area is to be proudly named the Centenary Suite, in recognition of the legendary side that first secured the First Division title 100 years ago this month (May 7th).

A historic brass plaque, marking the remarkable 30-game unbeaten run during that season – a proud Football League record that stood for over 80 years – has been sympathetically restored and will take centre stage in the new suite.

Alan Pace, chairman of Burnley FC, said: “The move to upgrade the hospitality areas at Turf Moor, to create top class hospitality for all budgets, has been one of the priorities since we took ownership of the club. Further improvements to the stadium are planned in time for the new season, in line with supporter feedback shared in a recent survey of more than 5,000 fans.

“We are committed to modernising Turf Moor and improving the matchday experience for all supporters, whilst ensuring that the stadium continues to offer a truly authentic football experience.”

The improved hospitality facilities will offer designated matchday hosts, a variety of dining options and a choice of either indoor or outdoor seating, in an expanded seating area within the main stand.

As part of the improvements, some supporters have been relocated from their existing seats in the James Hargreaves Stand lower tier. However, those affected have been contacted individually and offered alternative seating within the stadium at no extra cost.

The club will also offer matchday hospitality within the Jimmy McIlroy and Bob Lord stands, as in previous seasons. Additionally, all rooms will be available for hire on non-matchdays, for a range of events and functions.
