The drive-thru store, which only opened several months ago in Barracks Road, is one of 22 Starbucks outlets reopening across the North-West, with 150 in total across the country.
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone in store, measures have been put in place which not only align with government guidance, but also follow learnings from markets ahead of the UK in the recovery curve such as China, where 90% of Starbucks stores are now open.

Hide AdAlex Rayner, general manager, Starbucks UK, said: “We are proud to be back serving our communities with the phased reopening of our stores, starting with Drive-Thru and a handful of stores for takeaway only.
"Although our stores will look and feel a bit different with social distancing measures, plexi glass screens and upweighted cleaning procedures in place, the role coffee plays in creating connection and community hasn’t changed. Now, more than ever, having something familiar is incredibly important.”
