Jack and The Beanstalk comes to Greenbrook

NOTHING washes away those post Christmas blues better than a bit of good old slaptick panto fun.

For a show filled with plenty of that look no further Greenbrook’s “Jack and The Beanstalk”, which starts its run on Monday.

Amy Crossley will be sinking her teeth into the lead role of Jack while Les Newcombe will be playing Dame Trott.

Dozy Den is played by James Hargreaves, the King is Glenn Hawthorne, the Prime Minister, Daniel Bend, Princess Rose is Rebecca Schofield, Poison Ivy is Katie Hargreaves, Fairy Beansprout is Abigail Wrench, the Giant, Keith Holden and the Giant’s housekeeper, Sue Tighe.

Buttercup the cow is played by Helen Ingham and Oliver Bushby, Magic Harp is Jordan Ellis, Magic Hen Jack Roche and Arachna, Scarlett Morris.

The show runs until Saturday, January 15th, with performances starting at 7-30 p.m. and a Saturday matinee taking place at 2 p.m.

Ticket prices are, £6 adult, £4 child, student and OAP’s on Monday and Tuesday, then £6 adult, students and OAP’s and £4 child for the rest of the week.
