Expect Wilde things when Lady Windermere's Fan is presented at The Burnley Mechanics next month. (s)

In Oscar Wilde’s raucous social comedy, Lady Windermere’s Fan, mystery and scandal are the talk of the town.

A new beauty entering high society sends the in-crowd into a spin as they attempt to uncover her true identity.

Shattering the intricacies of etiquette and twisting expectations, this elegant production exploits stereotypes and tackles themes of superficiality and personal sacrifice.

A high-speed adaptation by Venetia Twigg, the show is being toured across the across the country by Theatrical Niche Ltd, in association with TIME ZONE THEATRE.

Director Pamela Schermann is making her debut with the Theatrical Niche team following the critical success of her work on previous Wilde productions.

Lady Windermere’s Fan, which is suitable for ages 12 and above, will ascend The Burnley Mechanics stage on Wednesday, October 4th at 7-30pm.

Tickets are priced at £12 for adults and £10 for concessions while groups of 10 or more can book each seat for £8.
