The thespians of Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society are known for murdering classic stories.

And this time they’re getting into the festive spirit by mounting an attack on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.

The characters are battling collapsing scenery and a series of mishaps and unfortunate decisions.

Then there’s the hysterical in-fighting among the cast.

And as if that wasn’t enough, there’s also a disaster-prone stage master to deal with.

Pendle audiences can expect hilarious madness as the Farndale Avenue ladies bring to life the Ghosts of Christmas with chaotic results.

The play is written by David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin Jr and will be presented by Colne Dramatic Society.
