The Garrick's fifth play of the season is Don't Look Now, Nell Leyshon's stage adaptation of a novella by Daphne du Maurier.

John and Laura travel to Venice to escape the pain of their young daughter's death, the vibrancy and romance of the city helping to heal their wounds.

But events take a strange and violent turn when the couple meet a pair of elderly sisters claiming to be psychic.

Taking the directorial seat is John Cummings, whose last two plays for the society were the bitter-sweet comedy A Month of Sundays in June last year and The 39 Steps in 2015.

Steve Cooke, last seen in Quartet in February last year will star as the leading male while Nicola Nuttall, of Pendle Borderline's A Merchant of Venice, will take on the role of Laura.

The two sisters will be played by Anne Chadwick and Lynne Cummings, both of whom were last seen in A Month of Sundays.
