They’re the melodies that get under your skin and the lyrics that speak to your soul.

It’s one of my great sadnesses that I’ll never get to see the musical legends perform live together. However, I managed to get as close as possible to ‘the real thing’ at Burnley Mechanics with ‘The Simon & Garfunkel Story’.

You couldn’t help but be mesmerized by the musical feast laid on by Dean Elliott (Simon) and Joe Sterling (Garfunkel), including ‘Mrs Robinson’, ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ and ‘The Boxer’ to name but a few.

It’s the closest you’ll get to the real thing as packed audiences on venues across the UK will attest to.
