The Red Telephone to perform in Burnley and Blackburn
THE Red Telephone are back on call and ready to introduce you to a whole new sound experience.
Despite only forming last summer the distinct sounding four-piece have quickly set about making a real name for themselves.
Inspired by bands like The National, Radiohead, Interpol and Modest Mouse, Red Telephone’s early shows included runs to the finals of two North-West “Battle of the Bands’ competitions and prestigious slots on the Hebden Bridge Trades Club’s Christmas Unsigned
Earlier this year the boys took a break from playing live to focus on progressing their ever developing sound and now they are back and raring to go.
The band comprises: Gary Starr (lead vocals, guitar, bass), Michael Connell (guitar, drums/percussion, keyboard, backing vocals); Clive Durkin (bass, drums, backing vocals) and Shaun Starr (guitar, bass, drums).
Upcoming events include a show at The Live Lounge in Blackburn on Saturday, August 27th, and one in The Woodman, Burnley, on Saturday, October 22nd.
