Radio debut for new band Bad Cardigan

UP-and-coming acoustic duo “Bad Cardigan” will play on BBC Radio Lancashire on Thursday.

Tom Randall, of Billington, and Jack Anwyl, of Great Harwood, formed Bad Cardigan in September and have already played around 25 gigs in local venues and Manchester, building a strong and growing fanbase.

Now they will be launched on a wider audience when they play live on the BBC Introducing show, hosted by Sean McGinty, on BBC Radio Lancashire from 8 to 10 p.m. on Thursday.

Jack and Tom are delighted by the radio opportunity, which will allow them to demonstrate the quality of their live performances. Bad Cardigan is an acoustic duo playing a catchy mix of their own songs and a few covers. Some of their music and more details can be found on the Bad Cardigan Facebook page.

Upcoming gigs include The Grand, Clitheroe, on January 28th; The Arden Inn, Accrington, on February 4th; and the Dry Bar, Manchester, on February 25th.
