Burnley residents were treated to the sight of the last two airworthy Lancaster bombers in the world flying overhead last Sunday.
The two aircraft - one from RAF BBMF in Lincolnshire and the second on loan from Canada - were seen heading east after appearing at the Southport Airshow.
This photo was snapped by David Blaxhall from the rear of Towneley Hall as the aircraft flew over, shortly after 4pm.
