Meat Loaf tribute act will do anything for charity

A MEAT Loaf performer is going “To Hell and Back” to raise money for Pendleside Hospice.

Dean Torkington will be belting out his popular tribute show on Friday, May 13th, at Ighten Leigh Social Club, to raise funds for the charity.

Dean said: “I’m doing it for my friend Susan Humphries whose dad, Ernest Wilkinson, died last year and was looked after by the hospice. He was a great bloke and is sorely missed.

“I’m doing the show for free and all money made will go to the hospice.”

The first half of the show will be dedicated to Meat Loaf with the second half featuring Dean taking on rock legends including Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and Aerosmith.

Tickets are £5 and can be bought by ringing the club on 01282 422306.
