Billed as a micro music, food and beer festival and featuring a selection of talented artists, the event takes place at Stephen Park from July 26th to 28th.

The opening day features a headline show from Liverpool’s reclusive lab-coat wearing psychonauts Clinic, who blazed an early spring trail across the US promoting their brilliant latest album “Free Reign”.

Undercurrents of electronica have always been staple to the Cloudspotting diet.

Second stage headliner on Friday, Magic Arm, Manchester’s stunningly original one-man band, will be followed on Saturday by main stager Jonnie Common, an affable Glasgow maverick.

Prior to all of that on the Saturday, emerging Fence Records artists Eagleowl and Seamus Fogarty trade sets and there is the atmospheric new project from former Super Furry Animals’ bassist Guto Pryce and partner Lindsey Leven (aka Gulp) and one utterly compelling female protagonist in Jesca Hoop, who will bring all her wild and beguiling attributes to calm the audience round sunset time.

On Sunday headliner King Creosote, with backing from several members of The Earlies, will bring a weight of well crafted songs and spontaneous arrangements.

Some of that line-up will also be appearing earlier in the day as members of other incarnations Tokolosh and Sara Lowes.

Prolifically clever trio the Wave Pictures, the grizzled and guttural blues/folk legend Michael Chapman and locally loved Richard Moss complete the picture once the North-West’s finest gospel choir begins main stage proceedings.
