Ex Clitheroe Royal Grammar School pupils invited to reunion

CLITHEROE Royal Grammar School's alumni association, The Clitheronians, is inviting all former pupils to its annual reunion dinner, on Saturday, November 13th, at Mytton Fold Hotel, Langho.

The deadline for a choice of menu or to be seated with your contemporaries is Wednesday, November 3rd.

An entertaining evening is promised, with good food and excellent (but short) speeches by retiring president Miss Barbara Bingham, who will introduce incoming president Mr Dermot Finch, who attended the school from 1979 to 1986 and who has enjoyed a fascinating career.

Guests will be welcomed by the association's chairman, Mrs Jane Miller (nee Scholes) and a report on the progress of the school will be presented by current head teacher Mrs Judith Childs.

For anyone living out of the area, overnight accommodation is available at the venue.
