Cider festival has mouths watering

Two pubs in Burnley are staging their first ever cider festivals.

The Brun Lea, Manchester Road, and The Boot Inn, St James’ Street, will each be serving 12 different ciders during the festival, which runs from Thursday, July 21st until Sunday, July 31st.

Cider Twist Raspberry (Westons), Black Dragon (Gwynt y Ddraig) and Farmhouse Draught (Sheppy’s).

The Boot Inn manager Kerry Newton said: “Cider is proving increasingly popular with our customers and I’m sure they will enjoy the opportunity to enjoy ciders not usually available in the pub.”

Tasting notes on all of the ciders will be available in the pubs.
