Burnley’s charity double header

If you do, how about going along and supporting a couple of special nights for two very worthy causes?

This month sees Burnley hosting benefit shows to raise money for the victims of the tragic Japan tsunami and Pendleside Hospice.

First up is the Japan Tsunami Appeal Concert taking place at Central Methodist Church in Hargreaves Street, Burnley, on Saturday.

Grace O’Malley, Rob Robinson, Ian Adamson and LINUS are all performing on the night with the show running from 7-30 - 10-30 p.m.

Tickets are priced at £3.

Just three weeks after this on Thursday, April 29th and The Sanctuary, Cow Lane, will be kicking off the Bank Holiday weekend in style.

A night of no holds barred rock and it’s all for Pendleside Hospice.

Metonia, Effluence, The Strange and Weekend Offender will all be pulling no punches for what will undoubtedly be night to remember.

How much to see these four unmissiable acts I hear you ask. Just a measly £1.50 with all proceeds going to the hospice. Absolute bargain.
