Burnley shaping up for weekend of exceptional music and fun

BURNLEY Council have teamed up with Doc Redeye Events and AMS Neve to bring Burnley together for a weekend of exceptional music and fun.

On the 4th to 6th of May, Burnley will become ‘LITTLE AMERICA’ as the festival spreads to all corners of the town including family activities in the Charter Walk shopping centre with American cops, Blues Brothers, photo opportunities, Parade and live music.

The line up for the main stage involves an exclusive appearance from one of the biggest blues artists in the world as Jimmie Vaughan and The Tilt a Whirl Band takes to the stage with special guest star Lou Ann Barton (originally Stevie Ray Vaughan Band) on Friday 4th May. Jimmie is one of the founder members of the Fabulous Thunderbirds and routinely headlines the American blues circuit alongside BB King and Eric Clapton in front of thousands of adoring fans.
