Burnley Mechanics plays host to “A Night of Musicals”

THE sound of musical magic is all set to light up the Burnley stage.

Bringing the glitz and the glamour of the West End stage and the bright lights of Broadway, “A Night of Musicals” is taking over Burnley Mechanics on Friday.

Produced by Michael Courtney, the unforgettable two-hour extravaganza brings to life the great moments of the classic shows in one evening complete with West End singers, dancing, spectacular lighting and glitzy costumes.

Transporting audiences on a whistle-stop tour into the heart of London’s theatreland the show contains more than 20 of the most popular musicals including “Les Miserables”, “Phantom Of The Opera”, “Miss Saigon”, “West Side Story”, “The Sound Of Music”, “Spamalot” and “Wicked”.

The cast will also be joined for two songs by children from the East Lancs School Of Dancing, which is based in Burnley and run by Claire Slater.
