The Brodowski String Quartet appearing in Nelson

A HIGHLY regarded London-based string quartet is adding further prestige to Burnley and Pendle Music Society’s 15th season.

The Brodowski String Quartet will perform quartets by Haydn, Shostakovich and Schubert when they appear in Nelson on Saturday, February 5th.

The four artists from Germany, Wales, Scotland and England have played in Wigmore Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Barbican and the Purcell Room as well as appearing in numerous festivals in the UK and overseas.

This concert will take place at Christ Church, Carr Road, Nelson, and starts at 7-30 p.m.

Admission for non-members of the society is £9, or just £1 for children and full-time students aged 18 or under.
