Book review: Gabon by Annelies Hickendorff
It’s known as the land of the surfing hippo and one of West Africa’s mysterious and rarely visited countries.
One of the world’s most pristine eco-tourism destinations and 80 % of the country is swathed in dense rainforest and full of chimpanzees and mandrill troops.
The author has visited since 2006 and just loves the place. I have just read the book and I do too as its so inspiring. Just need to save up now to go!
