Travel writer Hilary Bradt can tell a tale and well! These days she enjoys semi-retirement in Devon.
Many years ago she travelled through Ireland on horseback and years later she decided to retrace her steps. Her faithful horse had died and so she took ownership of a new companion called Dingle Peggy and set off across the wonderful and wild country.
Her book tells of Hilary as she made friends with the horse and travelled across Ireland making new friends and and enjoying adventures.
The book is written with warmth and honesty and tells a lovely tale.
