The stories are funny, sweet and charming, with lovely illustrations. The Farm Fiasco sees Clementine Rose so excited because she and her classmates are going to the farm. She is a little worried, though, because cross Aunt Violet is coming along too and things go a little crazy when Aunt Violet and Clementine’s teacher, Miss Bottomley, go missing and Josh is cornered.

Perfect Present tells the story of a wedding at Penberthy House. Amid all the excitement, Uncle Digby falls ill and an invitation goes astray, meaning to everyone’s horror, that Aunt Violet is left in charge.
