A Cappella Singers return to Clitheroe

The A Cappella Singers return to Clitheroe on Saturday, December 10th, at St Mary Magdalene’s parish church.

This concert is part of the appeal fund launched to pay for work on the church spire. This will be the first time that the singers will have performed with a full orchestra and will mark the debut of the singers performing Bach’s “Magnificat”. The choir is conducted by musical director Phil Johnson, who has also directed the singers in other notable works: Britten’s “A Ceremony of Carols” and Pergolesi’s “Magnificat”.

Tickets are £8, including refreshments, and are available from Clitheroe Music on 01200 429942 or 01200 427066. The event is organised by St Mary’s Music Society.
