ONE of Shakespeare's most popular romantic tales will be played out in the open air when the "Much Ado About Nothing" comes to Gawthorpe Hall.
It is being performed by the Off The Ground company on the evening of Saturday, July 25th, when the audience is invited to take along a picnic and their own seats to watch the story unfold.

It tells of a pair of young lovers preparing for their wedding. To pass the time Hero and Claudio conspire with the prince, Don Pedro, to trick their friends into confessing their love for one another.

As the temperature rises, the merry war of words between Beatrice and Benedick a confirmed bachelor and maid, reaches new heights, as does Don John's jealousy as he plans to sabotage the wedding.

The play starts at 7-30 p.m. and the grounds are open from 6 p.m.
Tickets are available from Off the Ground at £10 adults and £7 concessions on 0151 625 2929 or email tickets@offtheground.co.uk
