"JIVE Talkin'", the hit show described as "the show that Bee Gees fans everywhere have been waiting for", is being staged at the Guild Hall, Preston, a week tonight - Friday, May 29th.
The nine-piece ensemble boasts a full band with string section as well as being fronted by brothers Darren and Gary Simmons as well as Jarrod Loughlin, whose 20 years experience have seen them perform on London's West End, on numerous TV shows and with the Bee Gees themselves.
The performers are also joined throughout the show by special guests to perform the songs the Bee Gees wrote for other artists such as Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand and Diana Ross.
The show is a two-hour-plus chronologically organised concert covering the Bee Gees's career from the early '60s classics such as "Massachusetts", "Words" and "To Love Somebody", through the disco period classics such as "Stayin' Alive", "Night Fever" and "Tragedy" and the modern-day hits such as "You Win Again" and "Alone".
The story of the Bee Gees's music is also helped along with narratives from the performers discussing key parts in the story of the Bee Gees's musical career.
