A peach of a play that is performed here to such a high standard that it must surely pick up an award somewhere along the way.

The private lives in question are primarily those of Amanda (Fiona Hampton) and Elyot (Harry Long) – once married but now divorced - who both adore and abhor each other in equal measure. Getting caught up in the crossfire of this love-hate relationship are their new spouses Sibyl (Jessica Baglow) and Victor (Niall Costigan).

It all makes for a deluge of dialogue but it is handled with such panache by the four main players. I cannot speak highly enough of their performances as they play their parts admirably in what is a witty and entertaining classic.

The play runs until April 18th with tickets available on 01204-520661.
