Children going along to have fun with Robinson Crusoe and his Pirates – this year’s half-term panto at St Stephen’s – are asked to get into the spirit of the story and dress as pirates.

There will even be a prize for the best dressed pirate at the Saturday matinee performance.

Linda Pounder from St Stephen’s says rehearsals have been great fun with quite a few new members in the cast.

Robinson Crusoe is played by Emily Wilkinson, the dame Margarita Juicilita by Les Newcombe, Nutty Nick by David Pounder, Captain Seasalt by Martin Chadwick, Juanita by Tracy Graham, Cut Throat by Kevin Moore, Skull-Duggary by Jean Beeston, Cross-Bones by Tina Wolsteholme, Girl Friday by Kirsty Jackson, Hocus Pocus by Sue Tighe, Mumbo Jumbo by Pam Maybury, Coral by Victoria Wickington and Davy Jones by Jonathan Pye.

Performances take place in St Stephen’s School Hall in Woodgrove Road, Burnley, from October 29th to November 2nd at 7-15pm. The Saturday matinee is sold out.

They are £7 adults, £5 for children and seniors can go for £5 on Tuesday only. Call 01282 830079 or email maybury.pam@gmail.com for tickets.
