There will be “Anarchy in Burnley” when a punk all-dayer comes to town later this month.
“Never Mind The B*******”, now in its sixth year, takes over The Talbot in Church Street pub on Sunday, October 25th.
Held to commemorate the 38th anniversary of The Sex Pistols’ seminal album, Complete Control will be kicking things off at 1-15pm.
They will be followed by The Charly Syndrome, Xtract, Strangeways, Bug and Brassneck before returning to stage around 8-30pm to play “Never Mind The B*******” in its entirety. Stu Crossley, from Complete Control, said: “As far as we know, nobody else does anything to commemorate the album. We did something for the 30th anniversary and it’s just carried on from there really. It’s abrillinat event and the place is always heaving all day long.”
Doors open at noon and it’s free admission to the event.
