Singing sensation Shannon Bond is hoping to raise money towards her performance at next year’s Olympic Games.

The 15 year-old from Ribblesdale High School will be holding a special performance titled ‘An evening with Shannon’ at the Dog Inn, Clitheroe on Saturday July 16th.

Earlier this year Shannon won the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform alongside other singers in the 150-strong Youth Music Ensemble throughout the London 2012 games.

She is now working hard to raise the money needed to cover her travel and accommodation costs and hopes people will come along to support her.

To buy a ticket for the show or to sponsor Shannon, you can contact her dad Sean on 07858772683 or 01200 538482

The show starts at 8pm and tickets are £3.
