The angelic voices of Grace O’Malley and three young friends will be in concert at All Saints’ Church, Habergham, Burnley, later this month.

Singing superstar Grace, from Crawshawbooth, will be supported by Isobel Tanner playing the violin, and singers Laura Dunleavy and Ross Entwistle who are fellow students from the A level music class at Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School Sixth Form.

The concert takes place on Friday, August 28th, at 7-30pm at the Padiham Road church and Grace will sing a mixture of songs, from opera to musicals. The concert is to raise money for All Saints’ Church and Carers Link UK which is the chosen charity of the church Junior Queen.

This is a one off concert for Grace due to her A levels and studies at the Royal Northern College of Music where she recently won the Helen Latto singing award, presented by the Manchester Soroptimists. This is a prestigious award given to promising young singers and Grace was very proud to receive it.

She is hoping to forge a career in operatic music and win a place at a music conservatoirie next year to start her seven year opera training.

Tickets for the concert are £8 and you can pay on the door or buy in advance on 771992 or 773559.
