“Lancashire’s Got Talent in Modern Languages” – a talent contest to encourage creativity in language learning – reached its climax at UcLan with an awards ceremony.

Finalists Holly Jackson, Grace Hyer, Aimee Pilkington and Brookly Moore beat 67 other entries to earn the title of runners up in the French song category for writing and performing a rap in French about the singer Jessie J.

They were supported by ten of their Year 8 classmates at the ceremony in Preston.
