“The cast has been rehearsing hard since September and the results speak for themselves,” said Valley Academy Principal and Director Grant Bromley. They are now putting the finishing touches to this ambitious production and promise their audience a great night out.

“Over the last four years, Valley Academy has secured a reputation for producing theatre of the highest standard with their productions of Grease in 2014, Les Miserables in 2015 and Starlight Express in 2016, all staged at the Burnley Mechanics Theatre.

“The Academy has enjoyed success in other projects this year, most recently at Burnley Music Festival, where its community choir, Valley Aloud, secured first place in both the adult choirs category and the pop, rock and gospel category.

“The adult group affiliated to the company also took home two gongs at this year’s National Operatic Dramatic Association’s North West awards, including Best Panto and Best Comedy Performance for their dame!
