ALE lovers took their place in history at the 5th Burnley Beer Festival.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Burnley, Coun. Tony and Mrs Brenda Lambert, signalled the start of the event by pulling the first ever pint at the brand new Moorhouse’s visitor centre in Accrington Road.
Organised by the Clarets Trust and East Lancs Camra, a number of Burnley players joined in the celebrations and Clarets Trust chairman Peter Pike said: “We would like to thank David Grant for making this new centre available to the Trust. We are proud to be the first event in this magnificent centre which is another major investment in Burnley. Well done Moorhouse’s.”
