YOU can Swish for Victory (and charity) with Girl’s Guide at The ACE Centre, Nelson, on Thursday, May 26th, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Clever girls will be spring cleaning their wardrobes ready for an evening of swishing in support of Women’s Aid.

Join them for tea, home-made cakes and eco-friendly and new fashions.

There’s a new trend on the streets of Lancashire. Swishing is the art of swapping clothes, giving girls a smarter, more fun and ethical way to update their wardrobes. Girl’s Guide is encouraging women across Lancashire to bring the clothes they’ve outgrown (literally or stylistically) and swap them with like-minded fashionistas.

Swap, don’t shop! Simply bring along at least one piece of clothing, a handbag, clothes or an accessory from that guilty corner of your closet and enjoy the swish.

Tickets are available from The ACE Centre, Cross Street, Nelson. BB9 7NN and cost £3. Or, cut down on your style miles and order online via the Girl’s Guide website at www.GirlsGuideHQ.com
