Natalie Gumede: ‘We’ve got a lot to live up to now’

Pendle actress Natalie Gumede is working to her limits after being named “frontrunner” of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.

The Burnley-born actress (29) is now working on a ballroom number – a style of dance that she says is against all her natural instincts.

She said: “It’s so difficult to contrast between such a fast-paced dance and then go to something that’s so controlled.”

Strictly Come Dancing will be on BBC One over the weekend.
