Ticket holders of a cancelled Lawson concert will be given refunds from their point of purchase.
Yesterday, we revealed that the four-piece were unable to make the rescheduled June date at the UCLan campus, in Princess Way, as their frontman Andy Brown continues to recover from illness.
Doc Redeye Events have now released a statement, saying: “Following the recent ill health of front-man Andy Brown which resulted in the postponement of the UCLan concert in Burnley on May 4th it’s with huge regret that Lawson are unable to make the proposed rescheduled date of June 7th now. While Andy is making progress in his recovery, doctors have instructed further rest is required. Refunds are available from the point of purchase.
“We are all very sorry Lawson have been unable to perform in Burnley. We were all looking forward to welcoming the band to the town and having an amazing gig. From Doc Redeye we wish the band well and hope Andy has a speedy recovery.”
