A COLNE man who admitted breaching a curfew because he couldn't catch his dog had the order revoked by Pennine magistrates.

The Bench had earlier been told how Aaron Nicholas Bridge had been given the order after being convicted of burglary. He was supposed to stay indoors between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. each day but had repeatedly been missing over Christmas and New Year.

His solicitor, Mr Dylan Bradshaw, had told the hearing Bridge's dog could scale the wall of his back yard and would escape.

The defendant (22), of Chapel Street, was given six weeks in jail, suspended for six months, with six months supervision.
