Harry Potter goes to court over Indian double

FILM bosses at Warner Bros - the Hollywood firm which owns the rights to the popular Harry Potter films - is suing an Indian production company which has named its new film "Hari Puttar: A Comedy of Terrors".

It has been reported that the film giants have launched legal action over a number of similarities to their blackbusters.

However, the producers of "Hari Puttar" have hit back saying they registered their title more than two years ago and the film bore no resemblance to the "Harry Potter" series.

"Hari Puttar", which was due to open in cinemas next month, is the story of a young boy who fights criminals trying to steal a secret formula devised by his father, a scientist.
