Burnley Cricket Club’s Under 13s enjoyed an emphatic win over Haslingden.
Burnley, batting first, posted a score of 151 -3 off their 20 overs, with B. Johnstone retiring on 33, Q. Shah 35 and A. Khan 24.
There were sixes from Shah, Johnstone, L. Hutton and J. Blakey.
Haslingden were 43 all out in reply, with only one boundary, thanks to excellent bowling from T. Rehman (2-6) and Jude Mercer (3-3).
Burnley Under 9s A played Rishton and struggled with the bat, unfortunately losing eight wickets, with Oscar Cunliffe the highest scorer on five, and Hussnain Hyatt and Josh Holden making three each.
Rishton won with a score of 240, despite two great catches from Phoebe Johnstone and wickets for Hyatt and Elliott Johnstone.
Burnley Under 9s B travelled to play Church on Sunday, and scored 239 with Euan, Jahan Zore and Alfie Marsden top scoring.
In reply, Church scored 255 with Ali Hassain taking three victims, with Emily Brunt also among the wickets.
